Our Story

We've Been

Shoes.

Elevate Fitness & Performance was founded in 2017 by Raimee and Brandon Odum. Raimee grew up in Blackfoot — this is her community. Brandon made it his. Together they served as Air Force officers, came back to settle here, and started Elevate because they believe the athletes in this community deserve real coaching.

It's two coaches who do this work because they love it and believe their community deserves it. That shapes everything — how they coach, who they take on, and what they charge.

Every program is built on sport science and refined through years of working with competitive athletes across multiple sports. The credentials are real. So is the commitment to keeping this accessible.

A Note for Parents

Every coach is certified, insured, and professionally trained. We maintain clear communication with parents throughout the process and are happy to train at school facilities for additional peace of mind.

Your Coaches

Raimee Odum

Raimee grew up in eastern Idaho and came back to it on purpose. As a former collegiate athlete and Air Force officer, she'd seen what elite-level coaching looks like — and she came home determined to make sure athletes here had access to it too.

She started Elevate in 2017 out of a genuine love for this community and the athletes in it. That's not a marketing line — it's the reason she gets up and does this work every day. Her specialty is basketball, and she's spent years developing players at the youth and high school level on the strength, speed, and movement skills that actually show up on the court. But what most people notice first about Raimee is how easy she is to be around. She has a natural gift for making athletes feel capable and seen.

Brandon Odum

Brandon is a former Air Force officer and high school soccer player who went on to compete in cycling at the Air Force Academy. His athletic background is rooted in endurance sport — the kind that rewards structured programming, disciplined effort, and patience over time — and he brings that same methodical mindset to the weight room.

Brandon is a versatile coach who works across a wide range of sports and training goals. He currently coaches soccer programs in the area and brings particular depth in golf performance and combat sport conditioning — two disciplines where precise, coordinated power matters as much as raw strength. Every program he writes is grounded in the same sport science that defines everything Elevate delivers.

How do we get started?+
Reach out using the form below and we'll get back to you within 24 hours. We'll talk through your sport, your goals, your current fitness level, and your schedule. From there we figure out the right program and get started.
What ages do you work with?+
We work with athletes 12 and up — from middle schoolers just getting started in the weight room to high school competitors, college-bound athletes, and adult competitive and recreational athletes. Every program is age- and development-appropriate. We never apply adult programming to younger athletes, and we meet each person where they are.
Where do sessions take place?+
Individual and small-group sessions take place at our training facility in Blackfoot or at a school weight room. We work by appointment, which means your session time is reserved for you. For team training, we work directly with school teams and athletic organizations. Location details are confirmed when we set up your first session.
Can multiple athletes share a session?+
Yes. Teammates, siblings, or friends who want to train together can book the same time slot. Let us know when we first connect and we'll structure the group session and price it appropriately for the group size.
How do I schedule and pay?+
Once we've connected, we'll get sessions on the calendar and walk you through how scheduling and payment work.
What credentials do your coaches hold?+
Every program is designed and delivered by coaches certified through NSCA and NASM. The NSCA-CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) is the gold-standard credential in sport science — held by fewer than 50,000 coaches worldwide — and it shapes how every session here is structured. Additional credentials include NASM-CPT, NASM-PES, NASM-GFS (Golf Fitness), and NASM-MMA Conditioning.
Do you work with school teams and sports programs?+
Yes. We work directly with school coaches and athletic programs in the Blackfoot, Pocatello, and Idaho Falls area. We can design and run a full strength & conditioning program for an entire team, work in-season or off-season, and coordinate with existing coaching staff. Contact us to discuss options.
Will my program be built for me, or is it generic?+
Every program is built from scratch based on your sport, position, season timeline, movement assessment, and goals. The whole point of working with a certified coach is that your programming reflects you — not a template.
